So apparently this moron wrote an article bragging about paying over 4 G's just to play No Man's Sky, of all things.

After reading this, I'm reconsidering buying a new gaming console. I'm a big fan of Sony's Playstation brand and really wanted to get the newest one, but if my system is going to be obsolete within a year, I can't justify the cost.

[{o-.o}]~~ Games I'vePlayed recently... Onion Force

The Developer, +Queen Bee Games  was kind enough to reach out to me on email and gave me a key to play this. Before doing so, I took a lil look at the other reviews of this game. Almost completely down the middle in terms of Positive and Negative reviews!

Needless to say, I was intrigued and played it myself. Here's how it turned out...

The game from every standpoint has the makings of an Indie HIT! The only thing in it's way is the controls! But, fear not! At this very moment the devs are hard at work fixing that and once that's done, LOOK OUT!

Folks, definitely love this, innovative spin on the Tower Defense/Strategy Genre.

{[(Channel UPDATE)]} 3/9/16

Since putting up this video 3 weeks ago:

I gained close to 30 subs on my channel! I've been really pushing hard on the PR/Networking front and it's starting to pay off! I even helped out an Indie Game Dev with their game and they really appreciated my feedback!

I feel like I've really accomplished some things this week!

Today, I'm just kinda catching up on some PR stuff (Forums,Twitter, Facebook, etc). No Vids today.

Still feels like I'm behind even with the growth!

Is this what AMBITION feels like?

***After the MOVIE w/ Al*** || THe Shining

Just got through watching this with the wife last night.

Gotta say it doesn't hold up well with time. Maybe it's because I've seen Jack Nicholson's other work (and therefore KNOW he's a few clowns short of a circus) or maybe I've seen/heard too many references to this film.

It's a Kubrick fill, so you can expect a METRIC TON of establishing shots and huge sets, but for some reason this seemed like it was a bit much for this flick. All this really could could've been shot in a quaint bed & breakfast in Maine somewhere (Stephen King, who the novel this was based on, usually has state as a backdrop for his stories).

From the first time you see Jack (main character), you already tell he's crazy. So just throw in the same old horror/thriler cliche check list:

• PREVIOUS caretaker going nuts and chopping up his family like firewood: CHECK
• the hotel is built on Native American burial land (gotta add that): CHECK
• a comically spineless wife (played by Shelley Duvall): CHECK
• a grizzled grade-schooler with an imaginary friend: CHECK
• mysterious black guy (who was the FIRST one to die; another movie staple): CHECK

They even threw in a little use of the N word (gotta love it), just to keep us on our toes!

This movie movie wasn't as much as thrilling/scary as it was comicsl. FOR ALL THE WRONG REASON!

OUCH! ((DENTIST AFTERMATH))

I had my tooth pulled yesterday and I'm just sitting back watching you. I haven't played a single game all day and only edited a video for my #Starbound Co-OP LP! Funny thing is this hurts LESS than when I had the tooth IN MY MOUTH!

Now I have this whole in my jaw where the bum tooth used to be (I sense an OMARION reference in there, somewhere). I gotta wait a Month or so to get a bridge to fill the space. Eating is gonna be really weird until then. These Vicodin are a real help. Glad the Dentist prescribed them. :)

Well back to chilling out. Maybe I'll play some Skylanders SuperChargers later.

This is just sad on so many levels...

Have human relationships fallen so low, that a dude said "Hell with!" and married a FOOD ITEM?!?! 

REALLY DUDE??

TBH, this kinda nonsense comes about because dudes out here sacrificing their dignity just to say they're getting some! Come on, guy! The world is full of women, you don't have to go through the fires of Mordor to get some from a gal. As long as you are a decent guy, with acceptable hygiene and you don't limit yourself to a certain TYPE of woman, YOU CAN GET ONE!

The problem arises from dudes spending their life savings "EGO BANGING". By that I mean, they're willing to go through whatever crap they need to, so they can get the BEST LOOKING--not BEST ACTING--woman they can. They want to show the world how much status they have, by pulling the finest chicks they can, so others will envy them and their EGO gets boosted.

THAT'S IDIOTIC!!

Why go to all those lengths to impress people you don't know!  Even if you did, you'd probably hate them with a passion greater than ALL THE LOVE SONGS THAT HAVE BEEN (OR WILL EVER BE) WRITTEN BY MAN!! 

Human Relationships aren't that hard!

1. Stop tying to get the Daphne and get you a Velma! 
2. Know your value as a human being!
3. Be willing to compromise on some things!
4. Treat others like you would want to be treated.
5. Pay attention to your mate. (WARNING SIGNS) 

It's really just that simple!

Subscriber Struggles...

"You should have/deserve more subscribers."

If I had a subscriber/dollar for every time I've heard that line, I'd have...a few more subs than I do now. It seems like an uphill battle to get anyone to subscribe to my channel. I'm not sure what I've done wrong! 

Am I not screaming enough? Not funny enough? Is it the lack of cuss words? i try to share my stuff as much as possible to other but it seems like no one is interested. I don't think I sound any worse than other YouTubers out there. I conquered the awkward silences and can literally talk about whatever comes to mind during gameplay.

I tell stories from my life. Maybe I should try to stay more on game when I commentate? Who knws.

But it's not all bad. there are those few folks who like my channel and all I do and they make things worthwhile. I feel like I can keep at this because they value my work. And that keeps me trying my hardest to improve the channel for them.

So I'll keep at this for another year. And maybe over time I'll gain another few subs. But that's fine. As long as my fans keep coming back, it's still a win in my book...

Gotta thank the Most High for this! May not seem like a big deal, but it is for me. I always feel so invigorated when I get new subs. Especially when they're in groups! Seeing things like this, keeps me motivated to producing content for folks to enjoy.

GOD willing, I keep this momentum going and generate more views/subs...

Looking Back...

It's a little more than a year into this whole YouTuber thing. I've only really gotten gained a little over a hundred subs.honestly, I feel like quitting, No one watches my stuff and if the do, there's no commenting. I've held contests with mediocre results and my tweeter is so-so in terms of getting the word out. But somehow, I feel like giving up will have me miss out on something AMAZING. Like I'm just about to turn the corner into AWESOMENESS and make this channel successful.

Originally, the subscriber count was like 0, but since that boost from my short time as a member of SotoNation. (Tommy gave me a boost in subs with a shoutout and it went up to like 109). Since then, I've spent hundred on equipment, games, Skylanders and advertising and results are slow, but growing. I've gotten some help from other YouTubers I watch (+ExileonZTube, +B4NTO and others), and my social media presence is helping. I think what I need is a new ad campaign and a new gimmick to catch folks attention.

I have some ideas cooking up in my brain. I'm not licked yet....



ONWARD AND UPWARDS!!!
